Craft Activities

A craft is a manually executed activity which requires certain skills. These crafts may be based on a living (ethnographic) tradition, like Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, or on a tradition which may not be practiced anymore in the way it is portrayed, like for example flint knapping as originally practiced in Denmark in the Mesolithic. The craft activities we present here, are recorded episodes or events where a craft is interpreted. These are presentations, authored by one or more crafters. These activities represent a story, but it is just one way of showing the craft per se.
