3. Original Building: Source Material
In the following, we differentiate between two entities:
- the original building or its remains (sections 3-5), and
- the building in the museum (sections 6-8).
In section 3, you collect information on the original building. This includes its location, the institutions/companies or people responsible for documenting the in-situ building/archaeological features, as well as digital versions of the old documentation itself, like plans and photos. This information is mainly important for researchers.
Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
Things to prepare beforehand:
- Information about the place of origin / in-situ including GPS coordinates
- Information on the party organising the in-situ documentation, research/excavation
- Documents and images connected with the original documentation
