Tools and Installations

With tools, you can accomplish things which you cannot do with your bare hands. With for example a knife, you can cut vegetables, and with a hammer you can beat hot iron. A tool is an extension of your body by means of which you can manipulate something you otherwise would not have been able to, to the same effect. An installation in this respect, is a tool which is installed to a certain place, and is not very mobile. It is literally put in place, in-stalled. An example is a steam hammer, or a pottery wheel.
