8. The Building in the Museum: Detailed Technical Description

Here you produce a thorough and detailed technical description of the (re)constructed building in the museum. To make it easy for the documenter it consists of seven subsections, which you can save in between. For each subsection, all building parts should be documented, the materials and techniques used and the condition/decay.

Things to prepare beforehand:

  • Digitised version of floor plan 
  • Digitised drawing of section 
  • Detailed descriptions of the object (including sizes, material, like wood type and construction details)
  • Images and plans / drawings for each part / section of the object, document each element using photographs.
