Function of the tool / installation:
The wooden block is a basic ground to work on for the flint knapping. With this installation you can prepare more accurate flint artefacts. It is non mandatory for flint knapping (which you also can do by using a leather blanket on you legs).
Describe briefly how to use the tool / installation
You can put a flint core directly on the wooden block and work on it with a hard or a smooth hit. The size of the block should be comfortable for sitting beside.
