The Szabadtéri Néprajzi Múzeum, also known as the Hungarian Open-Air Museum, is located in Szentendre, Hungary. It is the largest open-air museum in Hungary and one of the most significant ethnographic museums in Europe. The museum aims to preserve and present the traditional rural life, architecture, and culture of Hungary from various historical periods and regions.

The Pyrohiv National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, commonly known as the Pyrohiv Museum, is an open-air museum located in the Pyrohiv district on the outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine. It is one of the largest and most significant ethnographic museums in Ukraine, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the traditional rural architecture, culture, and way of life from various regions of the country.

On the Bygdøy Peninsula in Oslo, Norway, you can find The Norsk Folkemuseum, or the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History. It is an extensive open-air museum established in 1894, and also one of the oldest and largest open-air museums in the world, offering a comprehensive view of Norwegian cultural history from various periods and regions.
 

Established in 1912, the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum, or the Netherlands Open-Air Museum, is a prominent open-air museum located in Arnhem, the Netherlands.The museum offers a comprehensive look at Dutch cultural history through a diverse collection of historical buildings, exhibits, and interactive experiences.

The Estonian Open-Air Museum, located in Tallinn, Estonia, is a large outdoor museum that provides a comprehensive insight into the traditional rural life and architecture of Estonia. Established in 1957, the museum spans about 72 hectares and features a variety of historical buildings and cultural exhibits from different regions of the country.

Established in 1958, the Bokrijk museum spans over 550 hectares and features more than 140 authentic historical buildings, including farmhouses, mills, workshops, and churches, which have been relocated from various parts of Flanders and reconstructed in the park.  The museum, located in the province of Limburg, Belgium, is an open-air museum that showcases rural life in Flanders from the past centuries.

Den Gamle By Museum, also known as The Old Town Museum, is an open-air museum located in Aarhus, Denmark. It is dedicated to illustrating the urban history and culture of Denmark, specifically focusing on the lifestyle and architectural heritage from the 16th century to the early 20th century.

The Beamish Museum is situated near Durham in North East England and is a renowned open-air museum that vividly depicts life in the region during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s, and 1950s. Established in 1970, the museum covers an expansive area of over 350 acres, offering a highly immersive and interactive experience of historical daily life.

Hampton National Historic Site, Maryland, United States, preserves a remnant of a vast 18th-century estate, including a Georgian manor house, gardens, grounds, and the original stone slave quarters. The estate was owned by the Ridgely family for seven generations, from 1745 to 1948. 

As one of the oldest rural life museums in the country, The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, New York, provides visitors with a unique opportunity to experience 19th-century rural and village life firsthand through demonstrations and interpretive exhibits.
