Alemannendorf (CH)
The project aims to (re)construct fully an Alemannic village, dating to the 7th century AD.

The archaeological data will serve to build the village as it was in the 7th century AD. One of the possible sites chosen to re-create the village is a dismissed quarry which gave life to a pond.
Not only the houses will be constructed, the life that was carried out in the past will be enacted by means of accurate replicas and activities. Experimental archaeology will have a space too in the site, as experiential and educative programmes.
The initiative starts from a living history group that has carefully planned the Archaeological Open Air Museum and has given life to a promotional campaign for support.
