In the grounds of the association for culture and art of Buchbrunn, a replica of a Neolithic longhouse is used for educational activities.

The longhouse has been (re)constructed on the base of the excavations made in 2001-2002 in the largest Linear Pottery settlement of northern Bavaria.The finds can be seen in the permanent exhibition in the Rathaus in Buchbrunn. The longhouse is set in the village, in the grounds of the local association and is used to involve young students (age 8 to 12) in hands on activities about life in the neolithic.
Some of them are: making a leather bag, making seashell jewelry, drilling, grinding grain with the Stone Age flour mill and others.
