The strong protective wall was built during the third century AD. The site was excavated at the beginning of the 19th century and investigation was continued in 1997, during the works for the volcano Park. The structure was then reconstructed in situ in 2000 and is one of the hiking-stations in the Volcano Park. Interesting findings gave the opportunity to re-construct the roof of the structure.
