Village Lacustre de Gletterens (CH)
The Lake Dwelling Village of Gletterens is romantically situated at the banks of Lake Neuchâtel. Although its main use is as education site for school groups, tourists visit the reconstruction of a Neolithic lake dwelling site as well.

Its origins are the local archaeological site of Gletterens and it is run by the local government. Archaeologists are involved as management, guides and ‘animators’ who perform demonstrations and give workshops. The natural environment (both the present and the past) as well as experimentation play a role here too.
The Village Lacustre is paired with the Laténium in offering combined visits.
